THE 15TH “DAYS OF CORPORATE SECURITY” INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE – hosted by ics

Brdo pri Kranju – Congress Center, Slovenia, May 13-14, 2024

The 15th International two-day conference “Days of Corporate Security 2024” was successfully concluded.

This International Conference serves as a thematic scientific and professional gathering for those dealing with security risk management in today’s environment, with a particular emphasis on corporate and information risks. It stands as the premier scientific and professional event in the region focused on corporate security, especially information and cyber risks.

The conference aimed to present the latest insights and research findings, showcase examples of good practice, and highlight successful knowledge transfer into practice. It also facilitated direct interaction between theorists and practitioners, promoting the dissemination and resolution of current issues in corporate security.

Attendees had the chance to listen to numerous high-profile lectures and participate in very productive round tables, featuring participants from strategic management and top-level professional circles. Throughout the conference, sponsors introduced the latest technological and process innovations, demonstrating how these advancements can enhance effective risk management in corporate security, with a special focus on cyber security and organizational resilience.

The SUNRISE project was presented by Gilda De Marco (Insiel S.p.A), who gave a presentation titled ‘SUNRISE Innovative security panorama: new management scenarios in the post-pandemic energy sector’. During the course of the International conference the SUNRISE project was constantly promoted by ICS and SUNRISE Partners present.

A series of professional events throughout the conference program once again facilitated the formation of new professional connections, the exchange of fresh experiences, and the professional validation of individual experts and providers of security solutions. This conference particularly emphasized factors that enhance the resilience of critical infrastructure and essential service providers. Understanding how to ensure business continuity is crucial for the proper functioning of the broader social environment.

The growing media and professional attention is undoubtedly fuelled by the “Slovenian Grand Security Award,” which the Institute for Corporate Security Studies annually bestows upon the best in its categories.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in this remarkable event. We bid you farewell and look forward to seeing you at the next International Conference, “Corporate Security Days 2025.”
