On November 5th and 6th, SUNRISE held a two-day General Assembly, hosted by the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology in Vienna.
Each project partner had the opportunity to share updates and discuss future plans for the project.
The first day focused on key highlights, including updates on coordination, deliverables, and risk management, as well as an overview of financials and timelines. Partners presented task updates, plans for Year 3, and reviewed project goals. Open discussions provided valuable feedback from pilot teams and encouraged cross-team collaboration.
On the second day, we conducted in-depth reviews of the project’s current status, tasks, and updates, all with an eye toward our Year 3 roadmap. Discussions covered potential risks, dependencies, and cross-team alignment to ensure smooth collaboration moving forward. Key sessions on the second day included updates on ongoing work and feedback from pilot teams, strategy discussions regarding project impact and exploitation plans for each Key Exploitable Result (KER), and a tool demonstration for the External Experts Group (EEG), followed by an EEG feedback roundtable.
We also successfully concluded our SUNRISE Project Year 2 Technical Review, held immediately after the General Assembly. During the review, project partners presented updates and progress on various tasks, along with demonstrations of the tools they have developed, to the European Commission experts and evaluators.
