From the 1st to the 3rd of April 2025, the SUNRISE project took part in the InCyber Forum in Lille, one of Europe’s leading events for cybersecurity and digital trust. The forum welcomed over 18,000 visitors, featured more than 700 partners, and brought together participants from over 100 countries. By bringing together public and private stakeholders, the forum provided an excellent platform to share the project’s goals, engage with industry experts, and highlight the innovative work being done to strengthen the resilience of Europe’s Critical Infrastructures.

Over the course of three days, the SUNRISE team was active both in the pitch area and in the exhibition hall. Our presentation focused on the project’s Cyber-Physical Risk Assessment solution, which leverages AI, real-time threat intelligence, and advanced risk modelling to enhance the ability of Critical Infrastructures (CI) operators to respond to cyber and physical threats, particularly during adverse events such as pandemics or natural disasters.

In addition to the presentation, we hosted a booth in the exhibition area throughout the forum along with other EU funded projects. This provided a valuable opportunity to connect with a wide range of stakeholders, including CI operators, technology providers, researchers, and policymakers. Visitors to the booth learned more about our four core solutions and our upcoming pilot activities, and discovered how SUNRISE supports strategic planning, collaboration, and innovation in Critical Infrastructures protection.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth, attended our pitch, and took the time to discuss potential synergies.
