SUNRISE National Workshop Series Round Two: Italy

The third instalment in the second round of SUNRISE National Workshops took place at thethe Insiel headquarters in Trieste on May 18th.

Building upon the successfully implemented first round of national workshops that took place towards the end of 2022, the goal of these gatherings is to facilitate regular discussions with critical infrastructure and gather their expert insights that will inform the project’s results. This direct input from the project’s key stakeholders will be crucial to the success of the SUNRISE outputs, ensuring they are meeting the real needs of CI operators in Europe.

SUNRISE is part of the Horizon Europe Program and was born in the context of the health emergency, to facilitate European cooperation in contexts similar to those that occurred during the pandemic: the workshop represents an important opportunity – after the first edition held last November – to share and collect information on the theme of resilience of critical infrastructures, also assuming future scenarios, possible solutions and organizational management methods.

In addition to Insiel, about twenty operators – also partners of the project and coming from different realities – who came together, bringing their experiences, at local, regional and national level, in sectors such as telecommunications, health and energy, as well as external organizations and operators who participated at our invitation!
