Consultation Focus
The EU is undergoing significant regulatory changes that will heavily influence the implementation of various processes in Member States. One crucial area is ensuring the operational continuity of critical entities in terms of cybersecurity. This topic will be the central theme of the event, emphasizing practical discussions on the active implementation of EU directives, such as NIS 2 and the Resilience Act. These discussions will explore how these directives can be effectively integrated, not just into national legislation but also into operational environments.
Slovenian organizations are also actively involved in key EU research projects, including the SUNRISE project, which focuses on cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection. These projects are pivotal to the EU’s efforts, providing essential insights for future regulatory developments. One such anticipated regulatory step involves the introduction and application of artificial intelligence, which ties closely to the event’s core topics.
The event will also address how Slovenian organizations can strengthen the transfer of knowledge and best practices from EU projects to the national context. This will involve showcasing innovative experiences and methods to enhance national capabilities.
The event is open for the wider audiences and free of charge – online registration is needed.
