Partner’s Role in the SUNRISE project
LISER is a Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) partner in the SUNRISE project with expertise in Urban Geography, Sociology and Socio-Economics. LISER is involved in various phases of the project from the elaboration of the SUNRISE strategy to the development of pilot applications for its technical tools and their evaluation to principally assess each tool’s societal impacts related to the environmental and social sustainability of the project’s results.
LISER is also leading the project’s impact assessment to give feedback, with other SSH partners, on the planned SUNRISE solutions and evaluate their multi-disciplinary impacts (technical, societal, climate, economic). Alongside this, LISER will also coordinate the design and development of the project’s sustainability roadmap to ensure long-term sustainability, replicability and scalability of SUNRISE results.
